    Is a well-known surgeon of Pakistan. After graduation from Khyber Medical College Peshawar in 1965 he served in the surgical units of different government hospitals of NWFP before proceeding to the United Kingdom for further studies. In 1975 he secured the fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons at Edinburgh UK. The following year he also got a diploma in Obstetrics/ Gynecology from the same institute. In 1977 he returned to Peshawar and served in different capacities at the Government Lady reading hospital & postgraduate institute Peshawar. In 2000 he retired from Government Lady reading hospital & postgraduate institute Peshawar as Professor of Surgery & Chief executive of the hospital & institute. Since his retirement from Government Lady reading hospital & postgraduate institute Peshawar he is serving as chief executive at Said Anwar Medical Center Peshawar. Since 2005 he also holds the chair of the Professor of Surgery at Peshawar Medical College, Peshawar.
    During the last 42 years he has rendered valuable contribution for the welfare of humanity and has produced numerous research papers and has held different important positions in different societies and welfare organizations.
